The Old Sixth Ward is still a part of the Houston Rodeo, as many participants camp out in the Old Sixth Ward in preparation for the parade down Memorial Drive. Monica Zepeda shared this picture of her on a horse owned by a man who regularly came into the OSW during Go Texan days to take pictures of neighborhood kids on horses. Giddy-up!
