The Mary Kay Ash Childhood House
This circa 1895 extended shotgun cottage was the childhood home of the late cosmetics queen, Mary Kay. The house has been mentioned in several of her books. It features Classical Revival features such as the large leaded glass windows, ornate entry doorway, and half-moon attic vent, which were sold off by a previous renter struggling to pay rent.  These pieces eventually found their way back to the house and the two story rear addition was built in the early 2000’s.
