The Thomas Golding House

This turn of the century ell-wing folk Victorian was the home of Mr. Thomas Golding, a stonecutter. His alleged murder in the early 1900’s was the inspiration of Anne Sloan’s book “Murder in the Heights”. It once had a circa 1870’s Gulf Coast Colonial wing in the back that predated the front section, that was likely the original house that faced the street.
