2206 Kane
This small house and the 2-story duplex at 2202 Kane are both on the corner lot (lot 6). The small house was built on the adjoining lot (lot 5) or moved onto lot 5 from somewhere else between 1896 and 1907 and then moved to lot 6 in about 1911 to make room for the new larger house now on lot 5 at 2210 Kane. Because the house has the characteristics of an early 1880's house, it was probably moved. Joseph Scardino bought lot 6 in 1925, and his daughter Lena and her husband Antonino Negrelli, a shoemaker, lived for many years at 2206 Kane.
