707 Sabine
This gable-front Folk Victorian cottage with Victorian Chippendale porch railings was probably built in 1890 by Anton Yanzen, a foreman in the grease works of the Waters Pierce Oil Co. He lived there only briefly. Until 1998 the house was rental property. The house has been extended 12 feet to the rear to contain three new bedrooms, and the original 3-room floor plan has been completely revamped to meet the needs of a 21st century lifestyle. A large 2-story addition appears from the street to be a separate house. A corridor connects the two buildings.
