1813 Lubbock

This Folk Victorian ell-wing house with Italianate influences was probably built in 1888 by Jacob Spies just before he was killed in April 1888 in a gruesome industrial accident.  His widow lived here briefly.  1811 and 1813 Lubbock were owned for many years from 1908 until 1962 by 3 generations of the Gregor family.  Albert M. Gregor lived here until about 1917; after that the house was rented.
